GTECH 1157NA AEEA, sodium salt solution

Properties:

GTECH 1157NA sodium salt solution of AEEA with a high pH value. It is designed as a water-soluble scale inhibitor for squeeze or continuous treatment of calcium andmagnesium carbonate, calcium, strontium and barium sulfate, and iron scales in watersystems. GTECH 1157NA also acts as an intermediate in the formulation of scaleinhibitors, corrosion inhibitors or combination scale/corrosion inhibitors for cooling water, boilers, waterfloods, and drilling systems.

GTECH 1157NA can provide the following benefits:

• Excellent tolerance to high-calcium-content brines

• Can be used at lower dosages compared to similar calcium-tolerant products

• Exhibits very strong anodic properties, which gives excellent applications as a

corrosion inhibitor in oxygenated systems such as cooling towers and drilling fluids

• Does not adversely affect the rheological properties of drilling muds
